Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur

A fusion of tradition and modernity

Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, fascinates in many different ways. This vibrant metropolis is one of the most economically important cities in Southeast Asia, where different worlds constantly collide.

While the modern cityscape is dominated by the famous 451-meter-high twin towers of glass and steel, Malaysia’s oldest colorful Hindu temple characterizes the historic city center. Ultimately, huge shopping malls tower next to local markets. A difference like night and day is omnipresent.

The Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur also embodies stylish present and historic past in a very special way. The Four Seasons in Kuala Lumpur uniquely combines modern luxury with a historical feeling and traditional values. A real gem of design and grace. This award-winning, elegant and luxuriously appointed five-star hotel is the magical trend spot for both national and international guests.

FOUR SEASONS HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR – PERFECT LOCATION IN THE KUALA LUMPUR CITY CENTER COMPLEX (KLCC)

Four Seasons has been redefining the concept of luxury travel since 1961. So, it comes as no surprise that the Four Seasons is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Center in a 65-story mixed-use skyscraper with a luxury shopping mall. Since 2018, the elegant Four Seasons has complemented the majestic skyline of this metropolis, offering direct views of both the lushly landscaped park and the city’s landmark, the sublime Petronas Towers. Finding a green oasis in the open air in the middle of a metropolis is an absolute delight. KLCC Park offers, among other things, an attractive 1.5-kilometer jogging track.

Its privileged location in the heart of a shopping and skyscraper paradise gives the Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur a truly luxurious character. This prime location in the so-called “Golden Triangle” is the ideal starting point for shopping and sightseeing.

However, the hotel not only impresses with its excellent location, but – as you, dear readers, will discover – with many other factors, too.

FOUR SEASONS HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR – ARRIVAL, CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

With a professional smile on his face and a warm welcome, the car attendant opens the door of the limousine, calls the bellboy to take the luggage straight to our suite, and the front desk manager is already waiting in the Executive Club Lounge for a quick check-in. Check-out takes place in the same manner in the Executive Club Lounge. While diligent porters load our luggage into the limousine, my husband briefly looks back on the wonderful stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

FOUR SEASONS HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR – TOP SERVICE

The Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur offers every guest the usual excellent Four Seasons service.  I recommend everyone book one of the hotel’s limousines with a driver for a few days. Thanks to Jacky Teh, we were able to explore the city and its surroundings (Melaka, Putrajaya) in a professional, yet very personal way. You will find the photos of all our private excursions in the sightseeing slideshow.

Special praise goes to the entire Four Seasons team. Every employee lives for their job and embodies the Four Seasons philosophy in a unique way. Such personal, attentive, and professional service is rarely found in the luxury hotel industry. All my expectations were exceeded at the Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur thanks to the extraordinary commitment of the staff.

I was able to communicate with customer service at any time via WhatsApp or the Four Seasons app.

“Four Seasons: The Art of Hospitality” refers to an illustrated book published by French publisher Assouline Publishing that celebrates the art of hospitality of the luxury hotel brand Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, and this is proven a thousand times over at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur. We felt right at home!

FOUR SEASONS HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR – CULINARY DELIGHTS

The Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur offers restaurants from all over the world to classic dishes of the local cuisine.

Yun House, a Michelin-starred restaurant, serves upscale Cantonese delicacies in a refined and stylish atmosphere. Let yourself be enchanted by an extensive selection of dim sum at lunchtime or the innovative flavors of modern Cantonese cuisine in the evening, accompanied by breathtaking views of the skyline.

Curate, overlooking the KLCC, serves excellent global cuisine throughout the day. Curate not only offers a varied and sumptuous breakfast menu / buffet but also live cooking stations that send the world-travelled palate on another aromatic journey around the world. Lunch and dinner are served buffet style, offering a sumptuous selection of local, Chinese, Indian, and Western dishes for a global gourmet journey.  It is the perfect place for the well-traveled foodie. Every Friday, there is also a special buffet.

Pool Bar & Grill delights the palate with light Middle Eastern dishes.

The award-winning Trigona Bar (named after the stingless Trigona bee) serves top-class cocktails made from local and sustainable ingredients in a cosy atmosphere. It is and remains a hotspot. Become a bee sponsor, buy a beehive and help secure a safe habitat for Malaysian honey bees.

The Lounge at Four Seasons offers a fine selection of local and international specialties, including a unique afternoon tea.

The Executive Club Lounge, which is only available to club and suite guests, is located on the 7th floor (7B). It is an exclusive, spacious private area that features a wine dispenser, a breathtaking terrace with a 180-degree view, and much more. I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank “Didi,” “Yun,” and Bryan Wong for their perfect service in the lounge. A delicious breakfast buffet is served here from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Alternatively, you can also enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at Curate. While an ever-changing afternoon tea is celebrated from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the team prepares a cold and warm evening buffet every day with an additional rich selection of local and international sweet treats from 6:00 p.m. At nightfall, the magnificent view of the water fountains in KLLC Park unfolds in all its luminous glory.

FOUR SEASONS HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR – THE SPA

The idyllic spa lounge and cozy relaxation room are complemented by a modern fitness studio on the opposite side, as well as an infinity pool surrounded by palm trees and pool cabanas with a sun terrace, whirlpool, bar / restaurant, and spectacular city views.

After a sauna and a visit to the steam room, I treated myself to a relaxing massage in the spa area. A heavenly experience!

MANY THANKS TO THE WORLD’S BEST TEAM FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE STAY AT THE FOUR SEASONS IN KUALA LUMPUR.
