The Peninsula Beverly Hills

Los Angeles luxury hotel industry is very diverse. Since we only spent a weekend in the City of Angels, I only selected one luxury hotel and tested it for you, dear readers. Since The Peninsula Shanghai, The Peninsula Hong Kong, The Peninsula Beijing, as well as The Peninsula New York convinced me, I choose The Peninsula Beverly Hills.

The Peninsula Beverly Hills is just a 5-minute walk from one of the most famous shopping miles in the world, the Rodeo Drive. So it scores not only with its location, but also with an absolutely unique concierge team! THANKS again to Frank! It is not for nothing that The Peninsula Beverly Hills is one of the 4 best hotels in the USA according to the well-known food critic and hotel tester Heinz Horrmann.

The legendary lobby immediately exudes Hollywood feeling.

As for the rooms and suites in this luxury hotel, we only got a Superior Room 318 (smallest category) – because of our spontaneous booking. The almost 45 square meter room with marble bathroom and French balcony is kept in classic style and surprises every hotel guest with pillows in which, the initials of the guest have been embroidered.

The Peninsula Spa with a well-equipped fitness center offers pure relaxation thanks to the beauty treatments, massages and body and facial treatments offered there. A true oasis of calm in the middle of this hectic metropolis. The absolute highlight is the roof terrace pool with whirlpool and comfortable loungers as well as enchanting, private cabanas.

The Peninsula Academy always develops a new and varied program for the young and older hotel guests. Just have a look at the homepage! You will surely find the right offer. However, it can be expensive.

Unfortunately, we did not eat in one of the hotel restaurants due to time constraints. In the Club Bar as well as in the Living Room we only enjoyed a cocktail or celebrated the Afternoon Tea in style. Breakfast is typically American and served at The Belvedere.

The so-called PEN – AIR In Flight Menu, which you can order one hour before your departure, really impressed me. You simply have to try it out; thanks to this service, nothing stands in the way of an enjoyable flight.
