This unique and first-class luxury hotel industry proudly continues in my further hotel portrait. This month I will present you a hotel of superlatives: the stylish ADDRESS BEACH RESORT, the first beach hotel of the well-known hotel group The Address, with the highest outdoor infinity pool in the world. This record has been officially confirmed by Guinness World Records on March 24th 2021.
“The average gives the world its existence, the extraordinary its value.” This quote by Oscar Wilde is not only a perfect fit for the Burj Al Arab, but likewise for the Address Beach Resort. Both luxury hotels are superlative architectural icons, albeit in very different ways.
Opened in 2020, the 5-star luxury hotel is part of the Jumeirah Beach Residence residential complex, which consists of two 77-story towers. These are connected by a spectacular skybridge and rise majestically into the desert sky. Personally, these twin towers with their unique bathing deck remind me of the sister hotel Address Skyview in the Downtown district.
Located in an exclusive beachfront location in the very hip trendy district of The Beach – not far from Dubai Marina – the Address Beach Resort offers pure beachfront lifestyle thanks, among other things, to its direct access to the fine-sand private beach on Jumeirah Beach.
The 217 spacious ultra-modern, high-tech rooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling windows on floors 3-16 provide either a dreamlike view of the deep blue Arabian Gulf, the beach, Bluewaters Island with the world’s tallest Ferris wheel AIN Dubai, or they captivate with an impressive view of the Marina. Our deluxe sea view room 1219 with balcony scores with a magnificent sea and Ferris wheel view. For those who want a slightly cheaper room, I recommend the deluxe marina view room with or without a balcony, while the 2 room Panoramic Suite will make the heart of any well-heeled traveler beat faster. It should be noted that the Sheikh Zayed Road runs directly behind the Dubai Marina, so it might be a bit noisy on the balcony of a marina room.
For high-tech lovers, the hotel is a dream come true. All room functions can be controlled via I-Pad (air conditioning, lights, housekeeping, restaurant reservations, just to name a few features). There are also pre-installed movies that you can watch on the big TV. I have to be honest, I’m not a digital native and the smart hotel room overwhelmed me, but I was able to dial “0” on the phone and immediately a very helpful staff member took care of everything necessary.
The diverse culinary offerings at the Address Beach Resort are truly impressive:
The Lounge offers a light meal for every taste at any time.
Li’Brasil is where the Middle East meets South America, serving steaks at their finest.
The spectacular Asian-inspired ZETA Seventy Seven is located on the 77th floor. You have to like the loud and hip lounge music.
The Restaurant offers international all day-dining and exemplifies the international flavors.
The Beach Grill, our favorite restaurant, delights the palate with delicious meat and fish dishes.
Via Toledo, an Italian restaurant is also located in the resort. However, in contrast to the above-mentioned culinary addresses, it does not belong to the resort. Unfortunately, it doesn’t play Italian melodies, but annoying sounds. The specialty of the house is pizza. Wonderful, but overpriced. Take a look at my picture and judge for yourself whether the 70 euros are justified.
The highlight of the luxurious Address Beach Resort is undoubtedly the world’s highest outdoor infinity pool, which towers over the earth at a proud 293,905 meters over a length of almost 100 meters and serves hotel guests a floating breakfast with a panoramic drama view. You must treat yourself to this experience of the extra class once in your lifetime.
Furthermore, there is an exclusive spa area on the 75th floor with a well-equipped gym, a steam sauna, another sauna, a relaxation room and unique treatments. 2 more sophisticated swimming oases are located downstairs. They are more suitable for families with children or for guests who suffer from fear of heights.
Address Beach Resort is definitely a destination for the stylish, young or young at heart and hip world traveler who wants to experience another superlative in the city of superlatives.
