One & Only The Palm is a luxurious and elegant boutique resort with a modern oriental design. The Moorish-Arabic architecture of this luxury pearl, set amidst an expansive garden oasis with palm trees, water pools and fountains, beguiled my senses from the start, even though it is located at the far end of Jumeirah Palm Island and thus far from the vibrant city and the airport. A complimentary boat shuttle, however, takes the pampered guest to Dubai’s cosmopolitan center at any time.
Each time I enter the elegant lobby, I’m captivated by the sight of the rippling marble fountain, and I enjoy the view from the adjacent luxurious lobby lounge of the Arabian Sea by day and Dubai’s spectacular skyline by night.
The rooms and suites at the Manor House or Palm Beach Mansions guarantee the highest level of comfort and fine design furnishings. Those who want to enjoy absolute privacy can book one of the private Beach Villas. Each room, suite or villa category welcomes the guest in a modern, Arabian style.
The three-story Manor House overlooking the pool and skyline truly forms the heart of this unique resort, set amidst lush gardens with water pools and fountains. Our Palm Manor Premier Room (308) welcomed me with 65 square meters, luxurious ambiance, lavish marble bathroom with freestanding bathtub, and furnished balcony with breathtaking views of the night-lit Dubai Marina.
Palm Beach Premier rooms and suites are also found in the double-story Palm Beach Mansions and feature Arabian-style elements. Some even have their own 20-square-meter pool.
Culinary delights at this luxury gem include 3 exceptional restaurants: the elegant Stay by Yannick Alléno offers a fine dining experience at the highest level thanks to its exquisite modern French cuisine.
The modernly decorated Zest overlooks the main pool and serves all-day dining, while the live cooking stations impress with a diverse selection of international, Arabic and Asian delicacies.
Located in the private marina, the hip 101 Dining Lounge & Bar scores with stunning skyline views and fresh seafood dishes.
The pool area, including an adults-only section, has 850 square feet. The Andalusian-style pool with daybeds, loungers, and private, air-conditioned cabanas invites guests to relax.
