This unique and first-class hotel industry proudly continues in my further hotel portrait. This month I will present you another jewel: the family-run Park Hotel Sonnenhof in Liechtenstein, member of the international top association of the private hotel industry RELAIS & CHATEAUX, which stands under the promise “everywhere in the world, unique in the world” as the first reference for excellence in the hotel industry and gastronomy.

Located above Vaduz, the capital of the Principality of Liechtenstein, Park Hotel Sonnenhof offers spectacular views of Vaduz Castle, which towers 120 meters above the Principality.

Park Hotel Sonnenhof, a four-star superior hotel, is distinguished by the warmth and professionalism of its dedicated staff, who care for and pamper every guest. The passionate hosts ultimately add the absolute finishing touches due to their heart’s desire to make each guest’s stay an emotional experience.

The small elegant lobby is a testament to the fact that every guest is truly welcome. Many celebrities, athletes and politicians have already visited this luxurious gem. The photo gallery by the elevator is something to behold.

As for the rooms and suites, guests can choose between boutique junior suites, deluxe double rooms, panoramic rooms, and stylish single rooms. In the slideshow you will be able to enjoy the pictures of the comfortable and tasteful double rooms with spectacular views and great balcony.

I recommend booking one of the newly designed boutique junior suites with breathtaking views of the Rhine Valley from the spacious balcony or terrace. These 12 suites are divided into 8 different themes and styles. Personally, I know the “Africa Junior Suite” with wall fireplace and when staying there, I could feel again the magic of South Africa, which I experienced during my two trips to this magical country.

Furthermore, the timeless elegance of the boutique junior suite number 35, decorated in light tones, is a feast for the eyes. In Corona times, guest safety is also a top priority here: Each room comes with a seal on the room door, so guests can be sure that their room has been carefully and mindfully cleaned and sanitized.

During my next stay, I will book the Parisian Chic Junior Suite, which is decorated in bold red tones. I am already looking forward to it! I also want to stay in the Wedding Junior Suite on our wedding anniversary. As you can read, I will hopefully be staying at Park Hotel Sonnenhof many more times, as there are other suites to discover, such as the “state-of-the-art” Armani Junior Suite.

As for the culinary, the hotel owner, Hubertus Real and his kitchen team will spoil you every evening with culinary highlights. This gourmet oasis celebrates what elevates the pleasure of the palate to an incomparable sensory experience. The Marée restaurant is a true delight.

In the Adlernest as well as on the terrace, you can enjoy local and international delicacies at lunchtime.

The grandiose breakfast buffet – even in Corona times – is exemplary and excellent.

The orientally designed wellness area with indoor pool offers soothing massages and multifaceted beauty treatments. I recommend doing a few laps in the cool water and then relaxing further with a massage. In summer, the outdoor area and in winter the indoor area also invite you to relax.

Park Hotel Sonnenhof is also well equipped technically for meetings and conferences.
